My fitness journey started about 5 years ago. Over the past half decade, I have been a softball player, weightlifter, health and wellness enthusiast, and everything in between. While I loved being active, I still faced being overweight, 200 pounds being my highest. I could never figure out how to get the body I truly wanted. It wasn’t until I figured it out; that the not-so-secret “secret” to weight loss and gain was my metabolism. Following a simple plan not only based on my calorie needs but also my metabolism needs as well, I began to understand the importance of protein and fiber that changed my relationship with food to eat balanced. My goal is to assist anyone who truly wants to change their relationship with food and live a balanced life not centered around weight and restriction.
